Kamagra- Regain your confidence for coital intercourse

11:20 PM by admin. Filed under: medicine articles

Kamagra is a medication which is the generic version of the brand Viagra. Kamagra has served as a life saving drug to most men who were afflicted with impotency and adopted Kamagra as their aid. The medication is manufactured by sythesization of Sildenafil citrate which also acts as the chief or active chemical component of the medication. It should be understood that Sildenafil citrate is a PDE5 enzyme inhibitor agent, which means that it hinders the functioning of this enzyme resulting in increases blood flow. It is widely believed that insignificant blood circulation to the phallus is core reason of erectile dysfunction. Hence, by increasing blood flow into the phallus it helps a man to set free from symptoms of male impotence.

Impotence or Erectile Dysfunction is defined as the inability to produce and maintain an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse. It’s not surprising that beliefs still persist in a number of cultures that to lack virility or to be impotent is to lack the very essence of life. All men over the age of 30 experience impotence at least once in their lifetime. It’s estimated that over 150 million men worldwide have impotence. It has been observed that men suffering from erectile dysfunction have a different approach to life. They suffer from depression. Some people even face many other problems following this. All and all, sex life becomes very hectic with a problem called impotence.

But with the introduction of Kamagra this worry is no more a concern and men can feel confident about their sexual abilities. This efficacious medication has the potential to eliminate effects of erectile dysfunction in the body. As mentioned above, Kamagra is the generic form of branded Viagra and hence it has to posses all the possible characteristics of the drug. Sildenafil citrate which is the active constituent of Kamagra is also the chief constituent of branded Viagra as well as Kamagra bears same ingredients as in Viagra. Moreover the sythesization of chemical components is similar to the branded version. Hence, due to similar ingredients and concentration of chemical it imparts similar significant effects. The only difference between Kamagra and Viagra is the cost at which they are available, as Kamagra is remarkably cheaper than Viagra.

It should be understood that Kamagra is not an aphrodisiac medication and it requires sexual stimulating signals from brain; which means that one should have the desire to indulge in the activity to get the best out of Kamagra and only then you will be able to attain hard- on through this drug. This will gradually lead to increased blood flow. With more blood flowing in and less flowing out, the arteries in the penis enlarge resulting in an erection. If this mechanism is not working properly, a man has difficulties in having and keeping an erection. Using Kamagra, a man can respond to sexual stimulation during a sexual encounter and once it is over, the erection goes away.

Six advantages of Kamagra:
• Kamagra helps you regain your confidence due to enhance sexual performance
• It enhances you sexual abilities
• It treats male impotence or erectile dysfunction
• It helps attaining stringer rigidity of phallus
• It improves sexual endurance
• Helps you save your marriage by enabling you to ensure your partner’s satisfaction
So live a new life with a new essence. Kamagra is there to get you rid of depression. Enjoy a good and healthy sex life.

GHP Fact Sheet Reveals Mexico’s Investment in Biopharmaceutical Sector

10:28 PM by admin. Filed under: medicine articles

A recent Global Health Progress fact sheet highlights how Mexico’s investment in its biopharmaceutical sector has spurred economic growth, fostered global competitiveness, reduced the health and economic burden of disease on local citizens, and improved access to medicines. With the tenth largest economy in the world, Mexico is currently investing more than 1% of its gross domestic product into its biopharmaceutical sector and this percentage is anticipated to increase as the country works to develop tomorrow’s medicines.

Like the U.S. and other big emerging markets, Mexico has recognized the potential of the biopharmaceutical sector to be an important source of economic growth through the creation of high-quality, high-skilled jobs. Currently, Mexico’s biopharmaceutical sector employs nearly 25,000 Mexican nationals at more than 32 biotechnology companies. The number of skilled workers entering the workforce is predicted to increase as more than 750,000 engineering and technology students in Mexico are currently enrolled in local universities. More than 90,000 new engineers and technology students graduate each year from Mexican universities and engineering and technology degrees comprised one-fourth of new university degrees in 2005. Additionally, collaboration between the public and private sector has resulted in the creation of more than 100 research centers.

Mexico’s emphasis on job creation stimulates the developments of new drugs, which improves access to medicines for its entire citizenry. For example, there are approximately 254 medicines in development or awaiting regulatory review for Mexican patients and Mexico currently ranks 19 out of 25 in terms of active clinical trial sites. The growth in share of global clinical trial sites can bring health benefits to Mexican patients, such as diffusion of medical knowledge, greater patience access to medicines and high quality care and effective medical practice. Through carefully controlled clinical studies, researchers can assess the safety and efficacy of new medicine candidates. Mexico’s growth in clinical trials is largely due to its population size (approximately 106.4 million people), lower costs of conducting trials, and efficiency of recruiting participants.

Recognizing the potential for economic growth, improving access to medicines and inspiring drug innovation, the Mexican government has sought to implement policies to foster the growth of the sector. The National Council for Science and Technology, the principal government funding agency for scientific research in Mexico, provided approximately US $16 million to fund basic science projects between 2001 and 2004. From 2001-2004, approximately 4,588 applied science projects were funded. Other key Mexican government initiatives include efforts to support the growth of regional biotechnology clusters, which bring together industry, government, universities and research centers. Mexico also has several bioclusters, made up of biotechnology, biopharmaceutical and related companies, focused on pharmaceutical R&D. In addition, public-private partnerships between the Mexican government, academia and industry are increasing due in part to the government’s continued commitment to science and technology research and education.

Recognizing the potential for future economic growth in the country’s biotechnology sector, Mexican President Felipe Calderón has stated, “Scientific research and technological innovation are essential to promoting the development of Latin American countries, invigorating economic growth [and] boosting competitiveness.”

Ephedra Alkaloids Vs Ephedra Extracts

1:35 PM by admin. Filed under: medicine articles

If you are serious about weight loss, you surely are testing all available products to determine which one is the most effective for you. You probably have heard about ephedra alkaloids and ephedra extracts. Ephedra has been proven to be among the best and most effective substances that bring about weight loss. However, it is a powerful substance that should not be abused, hence, the current FDA regulation against it. You might be confused because there are supplements containing ephedra alkaloids and some with ephedra extracts. What is the difference of the two?

When you say a substance is an ephedra extract, you are talking about a product that contains actual extracts from a gymnosperm shrub. Plants that contain ephedra could be found across different areas globally like in South America, Central Asia, North America, and North Africa. Ephedra has been used for many centuries in the traditional Chinese medicine. It has been popular among people who are fond of taking herbs to treat various forms of ailments.

Ephedra could bring about improvement to the bronchial tubes and airways. The substance has been proven to be effective in providing relief or treating common colds, allergic rhinitis, asthma, and hay fever. On top of those, ephedra could bring about thermogenesis, a process that makes the body produce more internal heat. When there is greater internal heat, metabolic rate is raised so that burning of more fats and converting calories into useful energy is enhanced.

The US Food and Drug Administration has banned the use of ephedra due to the logical and possible bad effects to people who take the substance for too long. Thus, it is very rare to find and buy weight loss supplements and products that contain ephedra extract in their ingredients, though there are still many of such weight loss commodities.

On the other hand, ephedra alkaloids, more popularly known as ephedrine, are impure forms of ephedra. They could be synthetic because they contain many other substances that are added to the natural herbal extract. In the market, the combination is also referred to as hydrochloride, sulphate, or pseudoephedrine. Many manufacturers combine ephedrine with green tea extract and caffeine to make their products natural.

These days, products with ephedra alkaloids are widely sold because they do not contain pure ephedra. However, the potency and weight loss potential is not significantly altered. Thus, it could be inferred that ephedra alkaloids serve as direct substitutes for ephedra extract. Safety issues are involved. Products with ephedra alkaloids are usually over-the-counter so that there is no need to get prescriptions from your physician to buy them from the market.

Ephedra is truly a powerful weight loss ingredient. It could bring about a significant decline in overall weight. If you are aiming to shed out extra pounds, you should look at products containing the substance. Now, you have a clear idea about how ephedra extracts differ from ephedra alkaloids. You could now make a good and wise decision when buying products that contain either of them.

LEVOTHYROXINE (lee voe thye ROX een) is a thyroid hormone. This medicine can improve symptoms of thyroid deficiency such as slow speech, lack of energy, weight gain, hair loss, dry skin, and feeling cold. It also helps to treat goiter (an enlarged thyroid gland).

Marijuana and Your System

5:08 PM by admin. Filed under: medicine articles

Marijuana (other names are pot, herb, weed and grass) is one of the most popular light drugs. It is also one of the most popular drugs that potential employees are tested for in the U.S. and other countries before being hired. Marijuana contains THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) and it is responsible for its effect on a person.

It is not easy to define the exact time that marijuana stays in your system. There are so many factors that determine it such as metabolism, body weight, general health, fluid intake as well as the type of a drug, its strength; analytical method of testing is also an influential factor. Generally, THC stays in a person’s system for approximately 3-90 days after smoking; but again, this is all very individual.

Still, out of the above mentioned factors there are two main ones that affect the way and time the drug needs to leave your organism. They are your metabolic rate and half-life of THC. The latter ranges somewhere between 1 and 10 days; however, half life is such a hard for calculation measure that it is almost impossible to state the exact time when the system clears from THC completely.

Generally, it is 3-30 days for marijuana to leave your system. However, the result is different when it comes to different testing options. Different parts of our system tend to store chemicals for different periods and therefore your urine test results and your blood test results can be different. If you used to smoke pot a year ago and now need to undergo urine and hair tests, there results can be negative and positive correspondingly. The thing is that urine tests reveal recent use while hair test can show the presence of chemicals in hair follicles even if you gave up 2 years ago.

Still, there are situations when you need to pass this drug test to get a chance for a different job. The best answer is not to use drugs at all. When you are clean, there is no problem at all. However, if you feel like you might fail a test, it is better to take some measures. There are a lot of different detox products that claim helping in this very situation. Truly, some of them really do their work. There are a lot of urine detox products available online but make sure you choose the reliable one. Quick fix is also a great solution.

An overview of Zocor and its characteristic

12:35 AM by admin. Filed under: medicine articles

For people suffering from high cholesterol problems or diseases, medical experts usually uses the Zocor drug, which is one of the commonly used drugs to cure the high-cholesterol related diseases. Actually the Zocor drug is scientifically known as Simvastatin. However, in business as well as marketing terms, the Simvastatin is being marketed as Zocor or Simlup (depends on the marketing company of each country). Basically, the Simvastatin belongs to a group of drugs known as the statins. One of the major implementation of the Zocor drug is to control a disease called hypercholesterolemia and prevents this disease from creating any cardiovascular-related diseases which can affect the cardiovascular system of the human body.

Basically, the existence or presence of high-levels cholesterol (mainly the LDL or fully known as the low density lipoprotein) in the blood is known as hypercholesterolemia. To be specific, the hypercholesterolemia is not a disease but a metabolic imbalance which becomes a common factor and contributes to many forms of diseases occurring in the human body, most notably the cardiovascular- related diseases.

One of the major reasons of high level cholesterols in the blood is because of the imbalance in the lipoproteins level (lipoproteins is the source which carries the cholesterol in the bloodstream). By consuming the Zocor dosage, the dosage will help the decrease the level of the “bad” cholesterol (LDL or low density lipoprotein) and at the same time increases the level of the “good” cholesterol (HDL or high density lipoprotein). Another benefit of the Zocor dosage is that it reduces the risk of stroke or any forms of heart attack as well.

As with most other form of drugs, patients who are suffering from diabetes or any liver or kidney-related diseases are advised to seek medical consultation before consuming the Zocor dosage. People who consume alcohol on a daily basis are also advised to seek medical consultation before taking the Zocor dosage. Its also advised for the person to inform your doctor on other medication that he or she consumes as taking the Zocor dosage together with other medication can potentially caused side effects such as serious muscle-related problems.. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding are strictly prohibited from consuming the Zocor dosage as it can cause significant harm to the unborn baby.

Zocor is a well known drug and at the same time it is widely considered as the best option for most of the strange diseases that you might come along. It is always advised to buy these drugs at a reputed Canadian pharmacy, as you can save a lot of time and money. You can click here to buy Generic Zocor.

Is Herbal Medicine Still Relevant Today?

9:41 PM by admin. Filed under: medicine articles

Herbalism is defined as ‘a traditional medicinal or folk medicine practice based on the use of plants and plant extracts’. Since prehistoric times and until relatively recently, people in almost every culture and corner of the world had an intimate relationship with the plants that grew in their region, knowing which were good to eat, which were poisonous, and which could be used to treat illnesses.

The origins of herbalism and herbal medicine lie deep within our ancestral past and have more to do with mysticism, ritual and magic as with our health and wellbeing. Many plants and fungi have quite powerful psychoactive properties, and hallucinogenic plants and mushrooms have been used by many cultures for religious ceremonies and healing rituals.

As thorough and impressive as folk knowledge of plants and their uses for healing and other reasons was (and in a few now very rare cases such as some tribes in Papua New Guinea, is) we must remember how little they really knew and understood about human anatomy, pathology and diseases in general. Indeed, we must remember that medicine is a very recent science.

For example, as late as the 1850s, it was believed by all medical authorities that diseases such as cholera and typhoid were spread by ‘miasmas’ – in other words unhealthy airs. A London physician called John Snow discovered the truth (that water contaminated with sewage was to blame) with a brilliant piece of detective work. He noticed that all the cases in a cholera outbreak occurred around one well in Soho. When he took the well out of commission, the epidemic cleared up. It was found that a leak had contaminated the well with sewage.

These days of course we not only have a thorough understanding of human anatomy, physiology and biochemistry, an almost complete understanding of pathology thanks to the germ-theory of disease and surgical procedures and techniques of breathtaking ingenuity, we also have an incredibly advanced chemistry that allows us to synthesise potential medicines.

Despite all that we can do, and the exciting potential of new research, it seems that our most simple and primitive attempts at medicine still have something to offer us. Our knowledge of botany and plant chemistry allows us to accurately examine the claims that herbalists have been making for centuries, and even allows us to isolate and examine specific plant compounds for research in new areas.

The scope and efficiency of modern medicine means that – at least in the West – herbal remedies are used for the most part as dietary supplements. Few people now would rely solely on plants when they were ill; the main purpose of herbal medicine is to keep one’s body and mind in good shape, largely to avoid illnesses and reduce their symptoms when they arise.

Of course many common ailments can be treated just as effectively, and in some cases more effectively, with herbal remedies as with synthesised medicines, but what is truly exciting is the scope for new research into plants and their medicinal applications. Plants have been quietly evolving for hundreds of millions of years and have produced a truly astounding array of chemicals, to build their stems leaves and flowers, to defend themselves from being eaten and more. Our ability to identify potentially medicinally useful chemicals, test them against diseases and then synthesise them in bulk offers us great potential in the fight against currently incurable diseases, and for this reason herbs are as important to our health now as they ever were.
